Kilpatrick Townsend Partner Ty Lord Named to L.E.A.D. Leadership Advisory Council
ATLANTA (May 20) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Ty Lord was selected to join the L.E.A.D. Leadership Advisory Council. L.E.A.D. uses the sport of baseball to empower at-risk Black student athletes in Atlanta Public Schools to overcome challenges such as crime, poverty and racism that threaten their success. The organization aims to transform Atlanta by instilling in young student-athletes a sense of service, responsibility and civic leadership.
The Leadership Advisory Council is composed of former L.E.A.D. board members who want to remain active with the organization after their term expires, and a select group of community leaders who want to provide valuable guidance and support in an advisory capacity. Ms. Lord is a partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and a member of Kilpatrick Townsend’s executive committee. She specializes in trademark and advertising counseling and litigation.
Ms. Lord, who is also the Co-Director of Social Media & Marketing for the Panthers Elite Baseball Team on which her son, Harrison Lord, plays first base, has been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a Leader in Corporate Citizenship and was selected as a 2020 Georgia Super Lawyer. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and earned her law degree at Wake Forest University.
