ATLANTA (January 6, 2021) - Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the election of 11 new members to its partnership and the elevation of seven attorneys to counsel effective January 1, 2021.

Elected to Partner

  • Regan Adamson is a member of the Investment Management Team in Winston-Salem. He focuses his practice on private funds, investment advisers, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Darin Brown is a member of the Trademark & Copyright Team in Denver. His practice focuses on counseling brand owners on the protection, maintenance, and enforcement of their trademark rights around the world. 
  • Kimberlynn Davis is a member of the Chemistry & Life Sciences Team in Atlanta. Her practice focuses on prosecuting foreign and domestic patent applications in pharmaceuticals, the chemical arts, and metallurgy, due diligence and freedom to operate analysis, and client counseling and portfolio strategy for companies, universities and research institutions.  
  • Allison Dobson is a member of the Chemistry & Life Sciences Team in Winston-Salem. She focuses her practice on patent prosecution and counseling, post-grant proceedings such as Inter Partes Review (IPR), litigation, licensing, due diligence, and other intellectual property issues. Her experience includes a wide range of biotechnology, medical devices, and pharmaceutical innovations. 
  • Stephen Donahoe is a member of the Financial Institutions Team in Washington, D.C. His practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters for financial institutions, including consumer finance, compliance and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau matters. He also regularly advises boards of directors and committees of boards of directors on all aspects of corporate governance.
  • Nesli Doran-Civan is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software Team in San Francisco. Her practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in domestic and foreign jurisdictions for a wide variety of technologies including aeronautical and mechanical systems (e.g. unmanned vehicles, fuel cell systems), medical devices (e.g. computerized imaging, invasive devices), as well as electronics and software technologies (e.g. fintech).  She has extensive experience in helping Turkish clients with intellectual property matters in the U.S.
  • Brian Gaudet is a member of the Construction & Infrastructure Team in Houston. His practice encompasses all aspects of the project and construction cycle from contract document preparation and review to litigation and dispute resolution of related claims. Mr. Gaudet is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
  • Richard Goldstucker is a member of the Patent Litigation Team in Atlanta. His practice focuses on counseling and patent litigation covering a broad range of technologies. His practice includes broad-based strategic counseling, advising clients on strategies to avoid litigation and, when litigation is necessary, representing clients in federal and state court and in U.S. and international arbitration.
  • Michael Myers is a member of the Real Estate Team in Winston-Salem. concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, finance and capital markets, and commercial transactions. He represents real estate developers and businesses in a wide range of commercial real estate matters including acquisition & disposition, real estate development, finance and capital markets, and commercial leasing.  
  • Todd Roessler is a member of the Environment & Product Regulation Team in Raleigh. His practice focuses on a wide range of matters related to environmental transactions, regulatory counseling, and litigation, including coastal law and issues. 
  • Fei Shen is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software Team in San Diego. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling in the computer, software, and semiconductor industries with technical expertise. He has extensive experience in helping Chinese clients on outbound work to the U.S. and works closely with the firm’s Shanghai office serving American companies with their interests in China.

  •  J.T. Bergstrom is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software Team in Denver. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution, patent litigation support, IP licensing, and IP portfolio strategy and management in the electronics, energy, and software fields. 
  • Megan Bussey is a member of the Mechanical & Medical Devices Team in New York. She concentrates her practice on intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on patent prosecution, patent litigation, and opinion work. Her practice involves a wide range of technologies, including medical devices, mechanical devices, textiles, merchandising displays and telecommunications.
  • Wendy Cheng is a member of the Trademark & Copyright Team in New York. She advises and manages clients’ global trademark portfolios and prepares IP protection strategy for a wide range of businesses, including but not limited to, FORTUNE 100 technology companies, a FORTUNE 500 LED manufacturer, a leading hospitality brand, high-end luxury apparel brands, financial institutions, national universities, and entertainment companies. She focuses her practice on international trademark and copyright matters, including trademark clearance, brand counseling, trademark prosecution and contested proceedings, anti-counterfeiting, dispute resolution and litigation, with a focus in Greater China and other Asian countries. 
  • Sindy Ding-Voorhees is a member of the Greater China Brands team under Trademark & Copyright Team and works between the New York and Beijing offices. She focuses her practice on trademark, copyright law, and fashion law related matters, including global trademark and copyright prosecution and enforcement, brand protection counseling, and litigation, dispute resolution in courts and arbitrations in Greater China. 
  • Crystal Genteman is a member of the Trademark & Copyright Team in Atlanta. She focuses her practice on trademark and copyright law. She has significant experience in federal trademark and copyright infringement litigation at both the district and appellate court level, as well as in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, matters implicating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and domain name disputes. 
  • Wade Kirshy is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software Team in Denver. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and strategic patent portfolio development and counseling. He has also done significant work in the areas of patent litigation and IP/Corporate transactions. Wade’s prosecution practice includes work in various technologies, including electronics, software (e.g., fintech, analytics, big data), medical devices, oil & gas, batteries, and more.  He also represents the Denver office in the firm’s pro bono committee, and also dedicates substantial time each year to pro bono work. For example, Wade has represented many families in need with finalizing kinship adoptions in Colorado.  
  • Patrick Njeim is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software Team in Seattle. His practice on patent preparation and prosecution, due diligence matters, infringement and validity opinions, portfolio analysis, patent litigation, and post-grant proceedings in the electronics and computer technology space, including artificial intelligence, IoT, 4G/5G standard, and computing architectures.
