Kilpatrick Townsend’s Mark Stember Featured Speaker at the American Bar Association’s Health and Welfare Audit Webinar
WASHINGTON, DC (April 12) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that partner Mark Stember will be speaking at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) second part of its Audit Trilogy, Preparing For and Surviving a Health and Welfare Audit. The webinar is sponsored by the ABA’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefits and will be held on Tuesday, April 19, from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Mr. Stember will join other industry leaders to discuss the Department of Labor's priority to audit the health and welfare benefit plans and provide insight and best practices for employers and advisors to prepare for these audits. For more information on the webinar, please click here.
Mr. Stember concentrates his practice on counseling clients on the tax and related aspects of health and welfare benefits, flexible compensation, fringe benefits, executive compensation, and qualified retirement plans. He has counseled both private and public clients regarding health and welfare plans, cafeteria plans, fringe benefit plans, such as adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive split dollar life insurance plans and section 401(k) and pension plans.
