Kilpatrick Townsend’s Laura Miller Named One of “The Triad’s 40 Leaders Under Forty”
WINSTON-SALEM (March 2) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Laura Miller has been named one of “The Triad’s 40 Leaders Under Forty” by the Triad Business Journal. The Triad Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honors young leaders for their accomplishments and contributions to the Piedmont Triad as well as their potential in years to come.
Ms. Miller was recognized for protecting some of the nation’s best-known consumer brands in high-stakes trademark and copyright cases. She was also recognized for her commitment to the community through both pro bono work and volunteerism. In 2015, Ms. Miller contributed over 80 hours of pro bono work for clients such as the Autism Society of N.C. and the Clemency Project. She also serves on the Board of Directors for SciWorks and The Enrichment Center.
Ms. Miller focuses her practice on litigation and counseling related to trademarks, copyrights, advertising and unfair competition. She handles trademark proceedings before the United States Trademark Office Trial and Appeal Board and litigates trademark infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition and false advertising cases in the federal courts. In addition, Ms. Miller also teaches Copyright Law at Wake Forest University School of Law.
