Kilpatrick Townsend’s Joe Petersen Featured Panelist at Digital Media Conference
SILICON VALLEY (May 11) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that partner Joe Petersen will be a featured panelist at the 2015 Legal Frontiers in Digital Media Conference in Mountain View, California on May 14th-15th. The conference is hosted by the Media Law Resource Center and The Berkeley Center for Law & Technology.
Mr. Petersen will join industry leaders as a panelist in the session, “What's Fair is Foul: Has The Transformative Use Doctrine Transformed Copyright Law For Better or Worse?” The session will discuss fair use as it applies to search, digitization and accessibility.

Mr. Petersen focuses his practice on litigating copyright and trademark cases involving new technologies and business models. In addition to his broad copyright and trademark litigation experience, Mr. Petersen possesses substantial experience in representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
