Overview

Frances Mosley is a corporate associate in the Menlo Park and San Diego offices of Kilpatrick Townsend. Her practice focuses on private companies in start-up and venture capital law, with an emphasis on medical device, life science, clean energy and technology companies. Ms. Mosley represents emerging growth companies on general corporate and securities matters, including formation and operation, venture capital financing, strategic investments and debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and day-to-day corporate governance matters, including advice on board, advisor and employment matters. Ms. Mosley’s experience also includes Securities and Exchange Commission filings and compliance.

Ms. Mosley has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in Corporate Law each year from 2014-2018.

Represented the founders of Editas Medicine, Incorporated in a $43 million Series A Financing to fund the collaborative research and development by a team of world-class scientists to develop a method of "editing out" abnormalities in genes in human cells.

Represented MVRx in $6 million Series A financing.

Represented Q Bio in $7 million Series Seed financing.

Represented lead investors in $40 million Series C financing of Hyperfine Research, Inc.
