Dana Breitman focuses her practice on trademark and copyright.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Breitman was founder and owner of the Law Offices of Dana Breitman, PC in New York, New York where her practice focused on trademark counseling. Previously, Ms. Breitman worked as of counsel in the New York office of a national law firm where she practiced trademark, copyright and unfair competition law. Ms. Breitman also worked as a senior associate in the New York office of an international law firm where her practice focused on a wide range of intellectual property issues, with an emphasis on U.S. prosecution of trademarks, preparation of agreements and licenses pertaining to intellectual property, and counseling regarding intellectual property strategies related to website design and the Internet.

While attending law school, Ms. Breitman was a member of the International Law Journal, Fordham Law Women, and Sports Lawyers Society.

Before launching her legal career, Ms. Breitman was a freelance editor at Lifetime Television in New York where she screened movies and series scheduled for air and established the content rating. Ms.Breitman also worked at VH1, MTV Networks in New York where she was associate producer for “Alice in Videoland,” “Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert,” and “Behind the Music.” While at VH1, MTV Networks, she researched and edited documentaries on Janet Jackson, Madonna, and Keith Richards.
