Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Attorney Sean Libby to Firm’s Atlanta Office
ATLANTA (May 24) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Sean Libby to the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Libby joins the firm as an associate on the Labor & Employment Team in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Libby focuses his practice on defending employers in harassment, discrimination, and retaliation lawsuits brought under state and federal law including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. He counsels clients on Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance and defends employers in FLSA suits. Mr. Libby helps clients craft and enforce various employment agreements including separation agreements and non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements. In addition, he is an experienced certified trainer who is frequently asked to conduct employee relations training due to his unique interactive style.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Libby worked as an associate at a labor and employment law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has experience working directly with human resource departments and business leaders on a wide range of labor and employment issues.
Mr. Libby earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, with honors, where he was the Executive Notes & Comments Editor of the Emory International Law Review. He received his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Georgia, magna cum laude.
