Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend’s Jeremy Schachter Works with Other Industry Leaders to Launch Report on Self-Regulation of Advertising in the U.S.
NEW YORK (April 15) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that firm attorney Jeremy Schachter is a select member of the Editorial Board and also an active participant of the Working Group that produced the report titled “Self-Regulation of Advertising in the United States: An Assessment of the National Advertising Division.” This important report was released today in association with the American Bar Association evaluating the National Advertising Division (NAD) and the state of advertising self-regulation in the United States.
The Working Group of 59 members, including representatives from consumer product companies (large and small), industry associations and advertising lawyers assembled the report and is the result of a request for input from the President of the Advertising Self-Regulatory Council (ASRC). The Working Group found that while overall the system is operating well, it recognized areas for improvement.

Mr. Schachter is an associate based in Kilpatrick Townsend’s New York office and is a member in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.
