Update on Intellectual Property in the U.S.
(Kristopher Reed) – Mr. Reed, a Partner in the Patent Litigation Team at Kilpatrick Townsend, will discuss the most recent developments in United States Patent Law, and the potential impact of those developments on intellectual property protection and enforcement in the United States. Mr. Reed will also discuss potential legislative and legal changes that may impact intellectual property rights under the Trump Administration.

U.S. Patent Law Trends
(Charles Gray, Fei Shen, Lu Yin) – An in-depth review of recent changes and trends in U.S. patent law and a practical discussion on adjusting your patent practice to account for these changes and trends.

Pharmaceutical Due Diligence Investigations and the Orange Book (A. James Isbester, Alyson Wooten, PharmD) – In this breakout session, Mr. Isbester and Dr. Wooten will focus on how to conduct a due diligence investigation as it relates to pharmaceuticals in the U.S., including a discussion of the need of heightened due diligence of Orange Book-listed patents (or potential OB-listed patents).
