Jack Xu focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling with an emphasis on electronics and software. In addition to performing claim construction, invalidity, and infringement analyses, Mr. Xu has experience in drafting patent applications and office action responses directed to complex technological fields including machine learning, blockchains, consumer robotics, virtual reality, cellular networks, cloud technology, database systems, semiconductor devices, and medical devices.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Xu worked as a patent prosecution associate at an intellectual property law firm based in San Francisco, California. Previously, he was a patent litigation associate in the Palo Alto, California office of an international law firm.

While attending Harvard Law School, Jack was editor of the Journal of Law and Technology, a certified mediator, and co-founder of the China Law Association. He also served as an intellectual property intern at Yahoo! Inc. in Sunnyvale, California.
