Show Wang focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and related counseling in a variety of technical fields including medical devices, electronics, semiconductors, and software.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wang worked as a summer associate - and then as an associate - in the Irvine, California office of a top-ranked intellectual property law firm, where his practice included patent and trademark litigation, patent prosecution, trademark disputes, and privacy law.

While attending law school, Mr. Wang spent a summer as a patent examiner extern at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He examined patent applications in the fields of diagnostic medical devices, surgical instruments, nasal filtration devices, and kinestherapy technology.

While attending Duke University, Mr. Wang designed and constructed a low-cost prototype device to wirelessly monitor heart signals in hospital patients. After graduation, Mr. Wang worked as an Equities Trader for a hedge fund in Raleigh, North Carolina where he developed software to analyze past trades and trader behavior.

Mr. Wang is conversant in Mandarin Chinese.
