Shane Ramsey focuses his practice on financial restructuring, bankruptcy, and corporate trust matters. Mr. Ramsey regularly represents committees of unsecured creditors, indenture trustees, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, bondholders, noteholders, liquidation trustees, plan administrators, and disbursing agents and other entities in bankruptcy reorganizations, liquidation proceedings, and bankruptcy related litigation.

Mr. Ramsey is involved with numerous pro bono activities. He coordinates the Reaffirmation Project, an initiative developed by the Bankruptcy Section of the Atlanta Bar Association in collaboration with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and financially supported by a grant from the American College of Bankruptcy. The project provides free legal counsel to unrepresented debtors seeking to enter into reaffirmation agreements. He has also represented a number of pro bono clients in non-dischargeability actions under the Bankruptcy Code.

In 2011, Mr. Ramsey was selected as one of the top 30 nominees nationwide to attend the 2011 National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program for up-and-coming bankruptcy attorneys being recognized for their professional accomplishments to date. In 2012, Mr. Ramsey was recognized by his peers as one of Georgia’s “Legal Elite” for Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights by Georgia Trend magazine. In 2013, Mr. Ramsey was recognized as a Georgia "Rising Star" in Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights by SuperLawyers magazine Mr. Ramsey is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell.*
