Jon Pierce is a registered patent attorney focusing his practice on all stages of patent litigation.

Mr. Pierce has been involved in litigations involving a diverse array of technologies including biotechnology, mechanical engineering, software, and business method patents. He has substantial experience drafting pleadings, managing and participating in discovery, and drafting successful motions on numerous issues. He also has substantial experience with e-discovery and related issues, and he has also worked with the firm's E-Discovery Committee.

In law school, Mr. Pierce was a staff writer and Articles Editor on the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology.

Mr. Pierce has been named a 2012 North Carolina "Rising Star" in the area of Intellectual Property Litigation by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine.
