Amy Phillips focuses her practice on all aspects of labor and employment law. Amy divides her time between New York and Raleigh. She advises clients on all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. She handles internal investigations. Amy has worked with numerous responses to EEOC and NLRB charges. She has represented clients in discrimination litigation in federal court. She has conducted wage and hour audits and advised clients on various aspects of wage and hour laws. She recently successfully represented a company in state court in a non-compete trade secret matter.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Phillips worked as an associate in the Litigation Group of a New York law firm.

While attending law school, Ms. Phillips was Vice Chancellor of Internals for Moot Court. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the insurance industry and was licensed in property, casualty, life and health insurance. Ms. Phillips is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
