Ariel Oseasohn is a Special Legal Consultant on the firm’s General Corporate, Mergers & Acquisition, and Securities Team. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Oseasohn was an attorney in the Jerusalem office of Yigai Arnon & Co. – one of Israel's largest and leading law firms. During his five-year tenure, he was selected by Finance Monthly magazine as “Deal Maker of the Year” for 2014 for his role in the counseling to the Government of Israel in three renewable energy projects.

Mr. Oseasohn is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Israel and is fluent in Hebrew.

Experience Highlights

Development and financing of a 121 MW parabolic trough power plant – Represented the joint committee of the Israeli Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy and Electricity Sector Regulator in the tender, detailed design and financing phases of a $1.2 billion BOT project for the development and construction of a solar-thermal parabolic trough power plant in the Israeli Negev Desert.

Development and financing of a 121 MW solar tower power plant – Represented the joint committee of the Israeli Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy and Electricity Sector Regulator in the tender, detailed design and financing phases of a $1 billion BOT project for the development and construction of a solar-thermal solar tower power plant in the Israeli Negev Desert.

Development and financing of a 31.5 MW PV power plant – Represented the joint committee of the Israeli Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy and Electricity Sector Regulator in the tender, detailed design and financing phases of a $250 million BOT project for the development and construction of a PV power plant in the Israeli Negev Desert.

Pre-qualification of a large scale data center – Represented a multi-national private telecommunications company in the qualification of a BOT project for the design, construction and maintenance of a large scale data center for the Israeli military.

PPA negotiation and drafting – Represented a private high-tech company in negotiating a Power Purchase Agreement with a privately owned natural gas powered power plant.

Development of university dormitories – Represented a construction company in a design-build-operate-transfer project for dormitories of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Standardization of government tender contracts – Represented a sub-committee of the Israeli Ministry of Finance in crafting and standardizing procurement and advisor-retention contracts, including bid solicitation, bid evaluation and procurement or engagement terms.
