Brittany Knutson focuses her practice on trademark and copyright law.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Knutson handled TTAB and federal district court litigation, and also worked on trademark prosecution, enforcement, and counseling matters at a boutique intellectual property law firm in Washington, D.C.

While attending law school, Ms. Knutson served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, served as a DC Law Students in Court student attorney representing clients before the District of Columbia’s Landlord-Tenant court, worked as a legal intern in the Alexandria Public Defender Office in Alexandria, Virginia, and gained Intellectual Property experience through internships with boutique D.C.-based firms. Ms. Knutson also earned the highest grade in several courses and was a Senior Editor of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Knutson built a successful career in higher education and was the Director of Admissions at Globe University in Madison, Wisconsin.
