Steven L. Harvin

Trial Technologist

Steve Harvin is a Trial Technology Consultant within Kilpatrick Townsend’s LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. During his 30+ year career, he has regularly assisted attorneys and clients with trial technology support, graphics, animations, video creation and editing, patent specimen photography and video, patent drawings, flash animation creation and demonstratives. Steve also has significant “hot seat” experience and has handled hearings, arbitrations and trials for several of the firm’s largest clients (including third party law firms). Steve’s background is in graphic design, but he is also well versed in courtroom and war room setup. Moreover, he is an expert in several presentation and design tools, including Sanction II, Trial Director, West Case Notebook and Adobe Creative Suite.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Georgia (B.F.A. in Graphic Design). Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, he worked in the Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney’s Office. While at the District Attorney’s office, Steve assisted with a significant number of high profile criminal cases, including the State of Georgia vs. Brian Nichols trial (the “Atlanta Courthouse Shooter”) and numerous capital punishment trials.
