Erica Dominitz focuses her practice on insurance coverage issues. She has experience representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage matters, both in negotiations with insurance companies and in litigation at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts. Ms. Dominitz has represented corporate policyholders in a wide range of matters, including disputes concerning coverage for property damage and business interruption losses resulting from hurricanes, terrorist attacks, fires, explosions, and other events, and for liability arising from alleged environmental harm, employment practices, and from directors’ and officers’ activities.
Ms. Dominitz is a member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee. She is a member of the Washington, D.C. team recognized as a Tier 1 practice in Insurance Recovery in 2011 by U.S. News - Best Lawyers® "Best Law Firms." Ms. Dominitz was also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Insurance Law in 2016 and the three years immediately preceding. She has been recognized as a 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Washington, D.C. “Super Lawyer” in the area of Insurance Coverage, a 2016 “Top 50 Women Washington, D.C.
