Urmil Davé is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling, with an emphasis on electronics and software. Mr. Davé has patent prosecution experience spanning many technologies including, but not limited to, semiconductors, graphics, storage, memory, payment processing, haptics, fitness devices, user interface, networking, GPS, and software.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Davé worked as a patent attorney in the San Jose office of an IP boutique law firm. During law school, he worked as an in-house patent intern for Marvell Semiconductor and eBay. Mr. Davé’s industry experience includes working at Cisco Systems, where he was a test engineer for 12000 series Ethernet Shared Port Adapters and 7600 series 40Gb line cards. While at Cisco, he developed the initial register level code for the optics module on the first IPoDWDM Shared Port Adapter and also developed internal offline diagnostics software in the C programming language.
