Robert Artuz is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on patent litigation. He is experienced with all stages of intellectual property litigation, from early case assessment through appeal, and has worked on matters pertaining to a variety of technologies, including analog and digital circuitry, computer software, Internet technology, wireless communications, computer graphics processing, biotechnology and mechanical devices.
In 2009, Mr. Artuz served as a deputy district attorney for the Office of the District Attorney of Santa Clara County. As a deputy district attorney, he prosecuted numerous criminal cases and was the lead trial attorney in seven jury trials that all resulted in criminal convictions.
Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Mr. Artuz clerked and externed for the Honorable James Ware of the District Court for Northern District of California.
Mr. Artuz has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in the 2009-2012 editions of Northern California Super Lawyers.
