Atolani Akinkuotu focuses his practice on patent law, with emphasis on patent litigation and domestic and international patent prosecution and counseling. His technical experience covers a wide range of technologies, including electrical, software, and mechanical areas, such as internet and web based applications, database technologies, hydrocarbon extraction, financial services software, neural networks and predictive modeling, mobile applications, and haptic effects.

Mr. Akinkuotu worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2012 and 2013. While attending Wake Forest University School of Law, he was a teaching assistant for Professor Steve Garland and a research assistant for Professors Simone Rose, Tracey Coan and Gregory Parks. Mr. Akinkuotu also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Allyson K. Duncan in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
