John Moye focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, technology litigation, and intellectual property issues. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he teaches Research, Reasoning, Writing and Advocacy.

During law school, Mr. Moye served as a staff member on the North Carolina Law Review, where he had two of his articles published. He also interned with the chambers of the Hon. W. Earl Britt, Senior District Judge for the United States District Court in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Moye was a writer for Forbes magazine in New York, where he wrote about technology companies and start-ups. He also taught English Literature for two years at Xavier High School, the oldest Jesuit high school in New York City.
