Alicia Grahn Jones concentrates her practice in the area of trademark clearance, prosecution, and litigation. Ms. Jones has substantial experience representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition and cancellation proceedings and in federal district courts in trademark infringement matters. Ms. Jones also helps clients determine the availability of trademarks, develop and implement appropriate trademark registration programs, monitor and enforce trademark rights, and prosecute trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Jones currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Georgia Bar Association and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. Ms. Jones has been recognized as a Georgia "Rising Star" in the area of Intellectual Property in 2012 by SuperLawyers magazine.
Ms. Jones is the Chair of the firm's Associate Communications Committee and serves as a member of the firm's Diversity Committee. She was a recipient of the 2004 Georgia Association of Women Lawyers Scholarship. Ms. Jones earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Ms. Jones received her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University, where he graduated cum laude in Political Science.
