Jennifer Giordano-Coltart, Ph.D., focuses her practice on patent prosecution and litigation, licensing, due diligence and general intellectual property advice in technologies relating to pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Dr. Giordano-Coltart has broad research experience and expertise in the areas of molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, immunology and cancer biology, in addition to pharmaceuticals and various medical devices.

Dr. Giordano-Coltart conducted her doctoral research at Cornell University Weill Graduate School of Medical Sciences and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where she designed and implemented molecular biology and biochemical experiments to study human DNA replication. She has also conducted research in the areas of intracellular trafficking, apoptosis and human genetic diseases. During law school, Dr. Giordano-Coltart focused her studies on intellectual property law and related fields. She wrote and edited for the Duke Law & Technology Review, in addition to planning the annual intellectual property law symposium and other intellectual property law events while acting as President of the Intellectual Property & Cyberlaw Society.
