Megan Bussey concentrates her practice on intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on patent litigation, counseling, due diligence and prosecution strategy. Her practice generally involves a wide range of technologies, including medical devices, mechanical devices, textiles, merchandising displays and telecommunications. Ms. Bussey is a registered patent attorney.

Ms. Bussey has been involved in various aspects of litigation, including drafting written discovery, motions, claim construction briefs and appellate briefs. Ms. Bussey also has experience with patent prosecution and client counseling involving intellectual property and anti-trust issues.

During law school, Ms. Bussey interned for Federal Magistrate Judge David Keesler in the Western District of North Carolina.
