NEW YORK (October 11) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Aaron Slavutin to the firm’s New York office. Mr. Slavutin joins the firm as an associate on the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Team in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Slavutin was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York. He has experience representing chapter 11 debtors, creditors, and other parties in interest in out-of-court restructurings, corporate reorganizations, and postconfirmation and other litigation.

Previously, Mr. Slavutin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Burton R. Lifland, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Mr. Slavutin earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics. He received his B.A. from Wesleyan University, cum laude.
