WASHINGTON, DC (March 15)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Mark Stember will be speaking at the 2016 Employers Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC) Annual Conference.  The ECFC Annual Conference will be held in Washington, DC on March 16-18, 2016. 

Mr. Stember will join other industry leaders and members on the Technical Advisory Group on the "Rapid Response Panel" to discuss wellness programs for employer group health plans.

The ECFC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the maintenance and expansion of private employer benefit programs on a tax-advantaged basis. The ECFC Annual Conference provides employers, plan sponsors, third-party administrators, and other service providers in the tax-advantaged benefits and healthcare industry with practical advice, technical education, and updates on lobbying efforts with Congress and on the regulatory front. Mr. Stember concentrates his practice on counseling clients on the tax and related aspects of health and welfare benefits, flexible compensation, fringe benefits, executive compensation, and qualified retirement plans. He has counseled both private and public clients regarding health and welfare plans, cafeteria plans, fringe benefit plans, such as adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive split dollar life insurance plans and section 401(k) and pension plans.
