ATLANTA (September 2) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Meghan Farmer to the firm’s Atlanta office. Ms. Farmer joins the firm as an associate on the Global Sourcing and Technology Team in the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Real Estate Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Farmer was Senior Manager of Privacy Operations at McKesson, and prior to that served in senior consulting roles at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton. She specializes in privacy and data protection and has extensive experience developing and implementing privacy and data protection programs in large commercial and government organizations. Ms. Farmer has expertise related to HIPAA, cross border data transfer strategy, safe harbor certification, compliance, risk assessment, policy and procedure development and implementation, privacy incident response and breach notification, third party risk management, legislative analysis and government affairs.

Ms. Farmer earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. She received her B.A. in Communications from George Mason University, cum laude.
