WASHINGTON, DC (August 5)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Mark Stember will be speaking at the 27th Annual Flexible Benefit Administrator Symposium.  The Symposium is sponsored by the Employer’s Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC) and will be held in Denver on August 7-8, 2014. 

Mr. Stember will be speaking on both days regarding the Affordable Care Act employer penalty and reporting requirements, as well as data privacy issues.  Mr. Stember is also a member of the ECFC Technical Advisory Committee, and he writes for the Council’s quarterly newsletter the ECFC Flex Reporter.

Mr. Stember concentrates his practice on counseling clients on the tax and related aspects of health and welfare benefits, flexible compensation, fringe benefits, executive compensation, and qualified retirement plans. He has counseled both private and public clients regarding health and welfare plans, cafeteria plans, fringe benefit plans, such as adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive split dollar life insurance plans and section 401(k) and pension plans.
