WASHINGTON, DC (March 19) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Sonia Baldia will serve as a speaker at the “Doing Business in India” seminar hosted by the City Bar Center for Continuing Legal Education in New York on March 28.

Sonia Baldia advises clients on legal and business issues in a broad range of U.S. and global sourcing, technology and intellectual property transactions.  Ms. Baldia’s sourcing and technology practice focuses on structuring, negotiating and implementing  complex transactions involving IT and business processes and global service delivery models including shared services, captives, traditional outsourcing and hybrids. 

Ms. Baldia is a registered patent attorney in the U.S. and India. She has extensive experience with intellectual property-related transactional matters in the U.S. and internationally, including intellectual property/patent licensing, monetization, portfolio management, and due diligence in corporate transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and other investments. 

In addition to Ms. Baldia’s U.S. bar admissions, she is also qualified to practice law in India, and leverages that combined experience on behalf of clients in India-related matters.
