NEW YORK (October 19) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Rob Potter will be a featured panelist at the 2011 International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition (IACC) Fall Conference in Orlando, Florida on October 21.
Mr. Potter will join other leading experts at a session titled, “Grey Market Goods.” This panel will discuss the importation of grey market product into the US, one of the great thorns in the side of the rights holders. The group will focus on corporate responses to the various forms the problem takes and methods used to circumvent traditional grey market defenses. A recent Miami case involving decoding will be analyzed and discussed.
Mr. Potter focuses his practice on trademark and copyright litigation and counseling. He counsels and advises clients on intellectual property matters across a wide range of industries, including entertainment, fashion, consumer products and technology.
