New York (May 3) – On Sunday, May 1, in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust, Kilpatrick Townsend Partner Marc Lieberstein hosted a crowd of over 100 people at the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County in Plainview, Long Island for a special screening of “A Film Unfinished.” This movie presents a "new look at the Nazi propaganda machine, and documents some of the worst horrors of our time, exposing the efforts of its perpetrators to propel their agenda and cast in a favorable light" (quoted from www.afilmunfinished.com).

Annie Bleiberg, the evening's Special Guest Speaker, gave a heart warming inspirational talk to the audience about her story of survival and the importance of teaching and practicing tolerance among all people. The Young Israel of Plainview, Hebrew Academy of Nassau County and the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County each co-sponsored the program.

A special thanks goes to Nancy Smith who assisted Mr. Lieberstein in creating the program flyer which received numerous accolades after being published in the nationally circulated Jewish Week newspaper. And not to be forgotten is Kilpatrick Townsend partner Fred Whitmer, who distributed a firm-wide email about this movie last summer urging us to see it, and giving Marc the idea for this unforgettable evening.
