WASHINGTON, DC (February 11) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that partners Gary Bronstein and Scott Brown will be participating on panels at Sterne Agee's 2011 Financial Institutions Investor Conference at The Peabody in Orlando, Florida on February 16 - 18.
The comprehensive financial conference will bring together leading financial institutions and equity and fixed income investors from across the country. Mr. Bronstein and Mr. Brown will be participating on panels made of up top legal and financial institution executives. Mr. Bronstein will be participating on the M&A/FDIC panel and Mr. Brown will moderate the MHC panel.
Mr. Bronstein is a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He provides a broad spectrum of strategic advice to financial institution and public company clients. Mr. Bronstein concentrates on initial public offerings and other specialized public and private capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests and a host of other corporate and securities law matters that arise during the life of clients.
Mr. Bronstein has had extensive experience with financial institution enforcement cases creating resolution strategies, negotiating settlements and leading internal investigations. He also provides counsel on corporate governance for clients that have been the subject of enforcement proceedings and public company clients.
Mr. Brown counsels clients on a wide range of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission reporting compliance and corporate governance matters. He regularly represents a variety of companies in the financial services industry, such as publicly and privately-held financial institutions, mutual institutions, including mutual holding companies, and investment banking firms. Mr. Brown also advises financial institutions with respect to various federal and state corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
