An epic Sandwich Making Showdown between the Atlanta and Washington offices involving over 80 attorneys and staff was held in October. The Atlanta Volunteer Council challenged the DC Volunteer Council to the showdown to see who could make the most sandwiches for the homeless in one day. Atlanta made 2,540 sandwiches and DC's victorious grand total was 3,016 – over 5,500 sandwiches in all!
