Successfully dismissed Bayer’s patent infringement claims against client Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in ANDA litigation over the generic version of YASMIN®. The district court ruled, and the Federal Circuit upheld, that Watson did not infringe Bayer's method patent because Watson sought FDA approval for only one of the three claimed physiological effects pursuant to Bayer's Orange Book listing.
