We are fully engaged in making a positive impact through community volunteerism. The Atlanta office's highly successful Freedom Writers mentoring initiative is currently in its fourth year. A total of 69 staff and attorney mentors meet once a week with 80 students at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. There are a variety of exciting activities scheduled for our students in 2010 such as career fairs, college tours, a college essay writing contest and a trip to our nation's capital. Through these efforts, our firm is encouraging the students' desire to pursue higher education, and hopes that at least one of them will eventually choose to practice law at Kilpatrick Townsend.
