Overview

Mark Wolfgang focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling in the areas of electronics and software. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Wolfgang worked with the firm in 2015 as a summer associate where he researched and made recommendations regarding patent validity and assisted attorneys with patent applications, office actions, and examiner interviews. While attending law school, Mr. Wolfgang was Staff Editor for I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Benita Y. Pearson in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Prior to launching his legal career, Mr. Wolfgang was an Engineer II at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut where he assisted with the development of software requirement specifications and at-sea testing to support the Virginia-Class Submarine Program.

Mr. Wolfgang has served as an Air Transportation Supervisor in the United States Air Force for over 11 years and he is currently assigned as a member of the Air Force Reserve’s 55th Aerial Port Squadron (APS) at Travis Air Force Base in California. He is a recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal and earned top leadership honors at Airman Leadership School and Air Transportation Technical School. Mr. Wolfgang is also a licensed private pilot.
