Overview

Jenny Goak focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark counseling, portfolio management, and enforcement for global brand owners. She helps companies assess the availability of trademarks for use and registration, develop and implement legal and practical risk management strategies, and monitor and enforce trademark rights. Jenny also counsels companies in the entertainment industry on trademark and title risk assessment, protection, and enforcement strategies.

Prior to joining the firm, Jenny worked at Amazon in Seattle, Washington where she managed the global trademark portfolio for Amazon’s original content business. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard F. McDermott in King County Superior Court in Kent, Washington. She also clerked at a premier law firm in Seoul, South Korea, where she gained an international perspective in trademark portfolio management and strategy.

Prior to law school, Jenny gained significant experience in intellectual property while working as a paralegal for the firm and an intellectual property firm in Seattle.

Jenny lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for one year and sang with the Singapore Lyric Opera Chorus. She also sang with the San Francisco Lyric Opera and Seattle Symphony Chorus. She speaks conversational Korean and is proficient in reading and writing Korean.
