Kilpatrick Townsend's Dallas Office Receives Silver Award for Pro Bono Service News
DALLAS (November 28) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the firm’s Dallas office recently received the Silver Award for Pro Bono Service in the category of law firms with fewer than 50 attorneys in Dallas. The firm was presented with the award by the President of the Dallas Bar Association at the annual reception for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
This award reflects a deep commitment, by one of the firm's newest offices, to the representation of low-income people in their community. Receiving the award was especially exciting given that it was the first time the firm’s Dallas office has been recognized for their pro bono work.
KT IMPACT’s Pro Bono commitment honors the legal profession’s responsibility to serve individuals and organizations that ordinarily cannot afford representation even when basic rights and interests are at stake. We believe in a legal system that works for everyone, regardless of economic or social status. Our efforts to close the justice gap provide an excellent platform for our attorneys to develop their legal skills and engage with clients we might not otherwise encounter, making us better attorneys in the process.
