The ACC Georgia Chapter and Kilpatrick Townsend invite you to join us at the ACC GA August 2017 Luncheon for a one-hour CLE panel presentation on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement, litigation, and policy developments.
We are more than half way through the year, and the news has been full of headlines concerning corruption in Brazil, South Korea, Mexico and all over the world. Already in 2017, the DOJ recovered approximately $225 million from companies seeking to resolve FCPA allegations. The luncheon’s panel will feature perspectives from in-house and outside counsel as well as a forensic expert and federal prosecutor on the enforcement trends this year, and how in-house counsel can protect their companies. Topics will include the effectiveness of the FCPA Pilot Program; the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, Kokesh v. SEC, as well as the various options companies may have to resolve any FCPA allegations.
